Shaka

Shaka, the Gold Saint of the Virgo is said to be the closest from God. Also considered as the reincarnation of Bouddha, he is one of the mightiest Gold Saint and the only one of this generation to master Arayashiki, the 8th Sense. He seldom leaves his house and always carries his rosary, which helps him to pray and count the Hadès specters still alive.

We chose to set up Shaka in the middle of launching the Tenkû Haja Chimimôryô. Sitting cross-legged on a giant pearl, this is inspired from the 8th episode of the first Hadès anime. Ghosts are springing from behind him, ready to get their enemy.

As for any of our statues, our artists try to be as similar as possible to the original art. Shaka is no exception and his cloth has been thoroughly reproduced. the shape of his face and his hair style were challenging and rewarding. In the end, you will have two faces for your statue. You will be offered the opportunity to choose whether you want to display the Saint with his eyes opened or closed. The painting uses the same technic used on Saga's cloth and you can see the different golds used for each part of the cloth.

Background

Cross-legged sat, Shaka launches his Tenkû Haja Chimimôryô attack. On a giant pearl from his rosary, he invokes ghosts to strike his enemy.

Ghosts have been molded in a translucent resin and painted with special treatment to get this peculiar ghostly effect. You will notice that ghosts are not all the same.

Base

Shaka is sitting on a giant pearl from his rosary while other pearls are coming from the base where a galaxy is painted. This set-up is inspired from the attack from the anime.

While the base still keeps the classical shape of our HQS by Tsume's base, the statue has some new effects: we painted a galaxy on it to mimic the cosmo. The pearls have been thoroughly worked on to achieve this specific rendering.
